A few cruises to Alaska visit Skagway. It has a dramatic location at the head of a fjord. It was a historic gateway to the Klondike during the gold rush. Skagway has historic buildings and the Klondike Gold Rush National Park.

Other popular excursions include helicopter tours, ziplines, catamaran cruises, dog sled rides, gold panning and hikes on the Chilkoot Trail. Town tours are offered too.
